Midnight Storm Rescue at Stonewood Development
We got the call at 11:30 PM last July - a microburst had snapped three sections of temporary fencing at a Stonewood housing development. Winds were still howling at 40 mph, and exposed rebar posed serious liability risks. The site super was frantic; they had concrete trucks arriving at dawn.
Our crew rolled out with 200 feet of 6' chain-link panels and heavy-duty posts within 45 minutes. We used ground anchors instead of concrete footings since the soil was already saturated from the storm. Had the whole perimeter secure by 2:30 AM, just in time for the early pour.
These guys saved our schedule and probably prevented injuries.
Rodrigo, Stonewood Site Supervisor
